I've been taking piano lessons from Barb Evenson for two years and have learned not only how to actually play the piano, but a much better appreciation for all music.  Barb's style is upbeat but serious, patient while maintaining high standards, and incredibly flexible.  She is very knowledgeable and will always take the time to explain my questions regarding theory, technique, terminology, etc.  My lessons with Barb are so relaxing and enjoyable that I increased the time from 1/2 hour per week to 1 hour per week and renamed my lessons, Piano Therapy.

-Becky Coats

"Barbara's workshop was a hit with both adults and children.  The Irish folklore she told and the interpretation of Celtic words made a personal and interesting presentation for everyone to enjoy."

-Anne Kohlhaas, Stinson Prairie Arts Council

"Thanks again for a great harp experience! I'm no longer intimidated by the instrument and it was great to be able to play several tunes by the end of class!"

-Mark Forbis, workshop participant
